But most of all I love going on a journey with my clients.
I’m an optimist, a giggler and a lover of life. I try not to take myself too seriously. I’m a wife, a mum to a toddler and fur baby. I’ve been known to randomly stop on the side of the road to take a photo of the sunset. I love a good flat pack, I have so many little craft tools you don’t even know exist, and I’m a bit of a tech nerd. I’ve dabbled in a lot of things, from video editing, 3D rendering to custom websites and wedding photography. I’ve been known in my circle as the go to person for all things events, from design to setting up, you name it.
But when it boils down to it, my real passion is event stationery and branding.
I love designing beautiful things and seeing them come to life in my hands. How awesome is it to be able to hold and touch what started off as an idea at first?!
Even after 14+ years in the game I still get a rush every time I send a concept to a client, or print ready files to the printers. But the icing on the cake is the trust and honour that comes with bringing to life an idea that a client has but couldn’t possibly do themselves.
I really do love what I do. I believe every business and event is unique and treat them as if they are my own. I love getting to know my clients and what makes them smile, what their concept is about, why it’s important to them and how to best bring it to life. Nothing about it is rushed, generic or cookie cutter. I take pride in what I do and want you to have the same excitement.
Having worked as a senior designer at one of the biggest corporate firms in the world, I’ve always had to work with deadlines and budgets. I’m a creative problem solver and love to get my hands dirty to reach the best outcome for my clients.
My design style is clean, elegant and refined. My personal style is fun, quirky and geeky.
So let’s get geeky together. We’ll have a laugh along the way and share a smile, but most importantly we’ll both get work on something that we’re proud of.
